TL;DR These are the sites I use most frequently. A common misconception of those just starting is that registering and surveying/polling with one group is the right way to go, and that you simply need to find the “right one”. This isn’t the case. Different groups will have surveys at different times. I’ve registered for many, but found the following list are the sites that I end up coming back to the most because of ease of use, payout, and how frequently they have new surveys.

The Sites I Use Most

*Last Updated: July 20, 2017

*The ones I’m a bigger fan of tend to be higher on the list, though it’s not necessarily in a particular order. They will send you an email that will ask to click a button/link to confirm after you create an account, and you’re off to the races 🙂

I also use Nielsen, which isn’t surveys, but uses a program you install on your computer that then gathers anonymous internet usage statistics. I like it because I don’t actually have to ‘do’ anything Nielsen “combines your unique internet usage with people like you to build a picture of internet behavior.”

I really hope you benefit from material I’ve put together. I’ve put a lot of time and effort in, and the information will save you so much time! Happy surveying!

Slightly Longer Version

There are legitimate companies ready to pay you cash for taking online surveys!

survey

If you have ever wanted a way to earn extra cash from home, for free, then I have good news for you. You can do just that by filling out simple online surveys.

But I bet you are wondering….

Why would I get paid just for filling out an online survey?

Companies invest millions of dollars into marketing every year. They want to make sure that the next product they launch will be a success. Creating a product without properly researching the market is never a good idea – it leaves too much to chance.

Companies need to figure out what people want and then create a product that gives them just that. One of the quickest ways to determine what the public is interested in is to create a survey and encourage as many people to take it as possible.

The data that companies acquire after the survey is completed will help them improve their new product and increase potential revenue once it has been launched onto the market.

Of course, people don’t want to fill out surveys for free unless there is something in it for them. So, companies often offer incentives to people to complete surveys.

Wait! Aren’t All Survey Sites Scams?

No! You can get paid to take surveys however, there are people who think the opportunity is a scam, mainly because:

1. They don’t understand how it really works.

2. They assume it’s a scam based on no real evidence or what they may have heard from others.

3. They registered for one or two scammy survey sites and think that all survey sites are scams.

Here are the facts:

  • If you do proper research to make sure that a survey site is legitimate before signing up and you use reliable sources to get your information, you really can earn money online from taking surveys.
  • There are a few rotten apples in the bunch when it comes to survey sites. However, this doesn’t mean that all of them are scams because there are plenty of survey panels out there that are legitimate and do pay their members. As someone who has done this, I can tell you the most time-consuming part of actually making money taking surveys online is actually finding the right survey networks.
  • The best way to learn the truth about something is to do extensive research, or to simply try it yourself. You will know for sure if an opportunity is legitimate or not if you have actually tried it out. However, that can be very time-consuming (and often disheartening)

Yes, I’ve Been There and I’ve Made Money

After coming across this opportunity during my research, I decided to give it a try. All I had to do was join some survey sites and fill out simple surveys to earn cash.

That was the kind of opportunity I was looking for – something simple, free, and legit.

So I started taking surveys, and guess what? I started making money. That simple. However, things were slow going. Especially at the beginning (when I didn’t know which networks were legit, and which would be a waste of time even registering with),. Then I got my first check. Over time, certain networks demonstrated that they could deliver surveys, and they paid. Ironically, the hardest part of making money online taking surveys isn’t actually taking the surveys, it’s getting the ball rolling. In hopes of getting the ball rolling, I created the list at the top of this page.

How Can I Make Money Taking Surveys?

Now that you know that you can take online surveys for money and actually get paid, you may be wondering how you can start. Like I said earlier, it is pretty easy to get started. Here are the basic steps to get started.

*I recommend that you get a free PayPal account so that you can get paid. Many survey panels use PayPal as a payment option.

**I also recommend that you create a new email specifically for paid surveys. Some companies give you the option of getting an email when a new survey is available. I like this because I don’t have to login to each one separately just to check, but it does mean you get more emails.

Step 1

Sign up for 1-5 paid survey panels that pay cash. Of course, you can look online to find them, or start with the ones I can vouch for at the top. You don’t want to participate on survey panels that don’t pay out real money unless you don’t mind gift cards, prizes, and other non-cash rewards. Make sure that you know whether a particular network pays out in cash, gift cards, or other perks. If you want to stick to just cash, that’s fine, though you will miss out on some survey sites that are legit, but pay in gift cards. In my mind, Amazon gift cards are pretty much as good as cash anyway, so I don’t really care. If it helps, find a way to keep things organized. I’ve personally found it helpful to keep bookmarks for the ones I use, and have a spreadsheet with site names, payout options, etc…

Below, you will find a list of the top survey sites that will pay you cash for taking online surveys. Keep in mind that all of these sites are:

» 100% free to join
» Cash survey sites
» Trusted & Tested – Proven Legitimate
» For US residents (Click Here If Not a US Resident)

Step 2

Once you have signed up to a few reputable survey panels, take the time to complete the profile surveys on each panel. These profile surveys will help you get more survey invitations.

Survey companies want to know a little information about you so that they can send out surveys that match your demographics and profile. If you don’t do this step, you will find that you won’t get that many survey invitations.

Step 3

Check to see if there are any available surveys to take on each survey site. Before you actually take any surveys, look at the compensation for each survey and start by doing the higher paying surveys first.

Step 4

After you have done some surveys, just wait until you get more surveys to do. Check your email regularly because survey invitations are often sent to the email account your registered on the site with.

That’s all there is to it.

Sign up to free survey panels, complete surveys, reach the minimum amount needed for payout by taking surveys, and request your money.
